Student Resources
Book Recommendations & Resources
Every semester, I provide a class gift to all my students that includes resources to support personal and professional growth. This is my way of thanking them for taking my class, as I feel privileged to have them when they could choose from many other excellent faculty and a wide variety of class offerings. This class gift features a curated selection of books, links to professional opportunities, and guidance on job hunting, personal development, professional pitfalls and challenges, critical thinking, relationship management, public speaking, brainstorming, and more. Below is a short segment of the class gift, shared publicly for students, aspiring students, and anyone interested in developing skills for a variety of projects:
Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion – Robert Cialdini
What Everybody Is Saying: An Ex-FBI Agent's Guide to Speed-Reading People – John Navarro
Thanks For the Feedback – Douglas Stone & Sheila Heen
Crucial Conversations – Joseph Grenny
Atomic Habits – James Clear
Pale Blue Dot – Carl Sagan
On Writing Well – William Zinsser
The Elements of Style – William Strunk Jr.

Office Hours
Office hours are available to past and current students of Baruch College and Columbia University. For updated office hours, please visit my Calendly link. Once I receive your request, I will send a confirmation. Please allow at least 24 hours for a response. If your matter is urgent, you may also reach out via my Baruch email.
Mentorship
I am happy to mentor high school, college, and graduate students, as well as professionals. Mentorship can take the form of a single call or up to four meetings per year, conducted virtually, with no cost expected. I am committed to helping students and early-career professionals gain perspective, guidance, and support in navigating their growth and goals.
Waitlist & Class Enrollment
Please plan to register at the beginning of the registration period to ensure your enrollment. However, I cannot add students to a class, and I have no control over waitlist management. If you have any registration issues or questions about waitlists, please reach out directly to the Baruch College Registrar. I also suggest checking class availability frequently, as openings can occur when students adjust their schedules.
If you are interested in auditing or observing a class, please contact me directly or inquire with Baruch College.
